Spartan Viola Fest is a one-day event that brings together highly motivated high school violists from all over the region. Led by MSU faculty and Detroit Symphony Orchestra violists Eric Nowlin and Mike Chen, participants enjoy masterclasses, lectures, technique and orchestra excerpt help, social activities, viola ensemble reading sessions, and performances.
