Jeannette Jang is Associate Principal Second Violin of the Richmond Symphony; prior to that, she was a Fellow with New World Symphony in Miami Beach, FL. She served as concertmaster under Michael Tilson Thomas, Leonard Slatkin, and David Robertson, and soloed with the orchestra as a winner of their concerto showcase. She participated in, and acted concertmaster, at summer festivals like Tanglewood, Spoleto Festival USA, and Colorado College Summer Music Festival. She received her Bachelor of Music from the University of Wisconsin, studying with David Perry, and her Master of Music from the University of Michigan, working with Andrew Jennings.
