Praised for “beautiful performances of great warmth” (Classical Voice of North Carolina), Michael Delfín has soloed for the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage and the Aspen, Eastern, and Chautauqua Music Festivals. He has captured prizes in the International Crescendo Music Awards, Baltimore Music Club, Chautauqua Festival, Eastern Music Festival, and CCM Concerto Competitions. Michael has appeared in recital with violinists Madeleine Mitchell and Mark O’Connor and violist Michael Hall. The recipient of grants from the Historical Keyboard Society of North America and the Catacoustic Consort, Michael is the artistic director of the Cincinnati-based Seven Hills Baroque. Michael is currently on faculty at the University of Alabama.
