Chen-Yu Huang, one of three harp specialists in Fort Bend ISD, is a performer, teacher, arranger, and composer. She was harp professor at Michigan State University (2014–2023). She served as principal harpist with the Ann Arbor Symphony (2016–2023), Jackson Symphony (2017–2023), and Illinois Symphony (2012–2018). Huang holds Doctoral, Master’s, and Artist Diploma degrees in harp performance from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree in piano from National Taiwan Normal University. Her mentors include Ann Yeung, Shannon Chieh, Chi-Mei Hung, and Bi-Ya Lin.
