Pengxi Zhu, Central Conservatory of Music graduate, currently studies at the Juilliard School with Professor Carol Rodland under the Kovner Fellowship. Zhu was awarded first prizes in the 29th Young Musician International Competition “Citta di Barletta” (2019), the Prokofiev International Music Competition (2021), the Max Bruch International Music Competition (2024), and more. He has played principal viola in Macao Youth Orchestra, won first place for the Viola Solo and Ensemble Competition of the 4th Singapore Raffles International Music Festival (2017), also having performed as a soloist with Chongqing Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanxi Symphony Orchestra, and Central Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra.
