30 Sep 2027 AVS Recording Project – Submissions due Jan 1
The American Viola Society announces a Call for Proposals for the 2027 AVS Recording Project! This program supports viola scholarship by assisting violists in releasing a professional recording; this will be the fifth release in our AVS Present series of compilation recordings. The theme for this year’s call is works by composers of the last 100 years (born since 1927). Works may be for viola solo or viola and one other instrument.
