Solo Competitions
Designed to showcase outstanding individual talent, this competition is open to emerging violists under age 26 with a passion for solo performance. Student groups may apply in three age divisions – Junior, Senior, and Collegiate.

Orchestral Audition Competition & Seminar
Participants under age 29 gain invaluable experience in a mock audition setting and receive expert feedback in a supportive, educational format.

Ensemble Invitational
Teachers and small group leaders—this is a fantastic opportunity for your viola ensembles to be featured at a national event! Student groups may apply in three age divisions – Junior, Senior, and Collegiate.

The application portal opens on October 1, and now is the perfect time to start planning and preparing. We encourage all students, teachers, and ensemble directors to review the guidelines and consider taking part in this exciting celebration of viola artistry by the next generation of performers.
