Are you passionate about the viola? Interested in serving your community by helping the AVS deliver existing programs or develop new ones? Have a skill to share to share, or the time and energy to share in our mission and help us reach our goals? Please consider running for the AVS Board!
The Nominations Committee of the AVS Executive Board seeks nominations for Secretary and four Member-at-Large positions commencing July 1, 2024. Member-At-Large terms are three years (July 1, 2024-July 1, 2027). The term for Secretary is four years. Any AVS member in good standing who is a U. S. citizen and/or U. S. resident is eligible to be nominated. Self-nominations are also encouraged!
We especially encourage nominations from candidates from a broad diversity of personal and professional backgrounds and skill sets. In particular, we welcome nominations from individuals with expertise or interest in:
- Fundraising/Development
- Nonprofit administration
- Technology (WordPress and website management)
- Graphic Design
- Marketing
- Grant Writing
We are an active and productive board, and successful candidates should expect regular service assignments and consistent engagement to fulfill our mission. Please review the nominations guidelines for complete details about the process and to learn how to submit your nomination.
