Chloe Si is a 12-year-old violist from Bluffdale, Utah, and a 7th-grade student at Draper Park Middle School. Her musical journey is defined by an extraordinary degree of self-motivation, sparked independently at age five by Mozart’s Turkish March. Growing up in a non-musical household, Chloe’s early development was entirely self-driven; during the COVID-19 pandemic, she mastered piano fundamentals through self-guided exploration, utilizing an iPad and YouTube to navigate the instrument.
This natural aptitude soon led her to stringed instruments. At age eight, Chloe began formal violin studies and achieved the remarkable feat of completing the entire 10-book Suzuki curriculum in just three years—a timeline that underscores her rapid technical progression and dedication.
In September 2024, Chloe transitioned to the viola, captivated by its rich and expressive resonance. She currently studies at the Gifted Music School in Salt Lake City, Utah, under the guidance of Professor Abigail Hills and JT Posadas. Combining deep artistic curiosity with a rigorous work ethic, Chloe continues to refine her musical voice through elite, performance-focused training.
