Daniel Stein is a Grammy-Award nominated violinist, music producer and pedagogue. After a failed career as a violist (which he played for over a decade) he regretfully abandoned the viola to pursue graduate studies in violin and historical performances at Indiana University where he eventually earned his D.M.. With over 50 commercial albums as performer and producer, Dr. Stein currently teaches at Colorado State University.
