Violist Hannah Levinson is an in-demand performer and educator of both contemporary and classical repertoire. She is a founding member and Executive Director of the violin/viola duo andPlay, described as “a four-limbed ensemble of visceral intensity and nonchalant virtuosity” (Peter Margasak). Hannah is also a member of the Talea Ensemble and frequently performs with ensembles including the International Contemporary Ensemble, Either/Or, and counter)induction. Hannah currently serves as Assistant Professor of Viola at Bowling Green State University, and was formerly Music Artist Faculty at NYU Steinhardt and Viola Faculty at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege.
