Dr. Alice Lindsay is a distinguished violist and pedagogue whose career spans symphonic, solo, and chamber music performance, as well as decades of influential teaching across several continents. The former associate principal violist of the New Jersey Symphony, she has taught at institutions including Rutgers, Southern Methodist, Virginia Commonwealth, and Loyola Universities, and at numerous ASTA conferences across the U.S. She has been a key figure in developing youth and festival programs nationwide and is currently the director of the Viola Intensive Program (VIP) at the Philadelphia International Music Festival.
