Noah Bowles is pursuing his Doctorate of Musical Arts in Viola Performance at West Virginia University, and is a student of Andrea Houde. He received his Bachelors and Masters in Music from Texas Christian University as a student of Dr. Misha Galaganov. Bowles has performed as soloist and chamber musician at festivals around the United States, including the Berkshire High Peaks Summer Music Festival in Great Barrington, MA and the Summit Music Festival in Purchase, NY. He is a member of both the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, former member of the McKinney Philharmonic and the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra, and has recently subbed for multiple orchestras in the Pittsburgh area. Bowles has started a small private teaching studio in the Morgantown area, teaching violas of many ages.
