Part one is straightforward melody reaching a high C. Parts two and three are more complicated with arppegiated chords, double stops, and rhythmic passages.
For mezzo-soprano or soprano and viola sextet.
Text based on a poem by Edith Södergan (1892-1923). Technically not a difficult piece, but requires mature players to follow the vocal line and some rhythmic challenges.
All parts contain syncopation, ornaments, and chromatic passages. Viola 1 has parts written in treble clef and string crossings from C to D strings. Several optional endings.
